Gulch Union (Endeavor Demonbreun): 3 towers (20 story/329,000 s.f. office, 29 story residential, 16 story hotel)

Recommended Posts

I'm guessing 50-70 feet taller because it's office at 20 floors vs. residential at (what?) 22 floors.

Imagine twice as tall as Gulch Crossing.

Demo permits have been granted for 1301 and 1213 McGavock (two one story nondescript structures along McGavock) to start to make way for Phase I.  The former Deja Vu building is not part of these permits.  I'm sure that will be next, in short order.

The former Deja Vu is be leased out to Rabbit Hole Distillery out of Louisville. Probably a year lease I would guess.

Whoa. Is there a source anywhere I can share? I was looking for something online to pass to a friend but no dice.

Signage was going up day before yesterday and I was talking to the sign company people. Still working on the info, but the sign is there for all to see.

10-4. I'll be sure to snap a photo on my drive through the city en route for the best damned smoked salmon bagel in the city: Proper Bagel. Thanks, Ron!

I'm wondering they're just doing a tasting room, like what Corsair had at Marathon Village. I just don't see that location being a good place to set up a distilling operation since it's going to be coming down, and relatively soon?

Interesting.  Surely it won't actually be in the Deja Vu building.  It's in the footprint of the office building beginning construction in 2 months.

Yeah I'm thinking that's just advertising and the site owners looking to milk a few billboard dollars while covering up a rundown strip club in the meantime until its torn down.

One of the nondescript 1 story buildings on Demonbreun was scraped-away a few days ago.  More to come down in next few weeks.

Looking NW from Demonbreun, 1/2 block west of 12th Ave. South:

They were probably already printed for other events...

I think it was there purely for CMA Fest.

I want to quote the Alex S. Palmer & Company:
"The future of Nashville is under construction now. Future generations have to live with what we, as developers, create. That places a heavy responsibility on us to be excellent—to only be involved in quality developments. Alex S. Palmer & Company is totally committed to developing space that is as functional and aesthetic as we can possibly make it ... for out time and for the future."
If Alex can wait for WES, we can too. This is from a Sept. 27, 1987 Tennessean ad I found while rummaging through some drawers. Come on, Alex, the suit fits now. Build us our buildings.

Market Street Enterprises announces their newest structure in their Gulch development: Three Thirty Three office building.  It will be a 5 story brick and glass structure featuring 69,000 sq. ft. of office space on top of a first floor primarily made up of 11,000 sq. ft. of retail that will face both Pine and 11th Ave. South.   It will be located at the NW corner of Pine and 11th Ave. North in The Gulch. Construction slated to begin this fall, and a finish is slated for late 2019.

Adjacent to the building on the north side will be Noble Park, featuring a wooden boardwalk, and a 12 foot high by 42 foot wide water wall.  There will also be a deck that can serve as a stage for performances.

The architect is Earl Swensson, and Turner will be construction company.
