They’ve recently applied for their grading permit, so hopefully soon!

Notably takes a lot of design cues from 1200 Broadway with the dark finishes and patterned garage covering, which makes sense considering they share a developer. I love it, looks sharp and definitely more interesting than previous renderings.

This looks fantastic! The way they address the street as well as the curved portion as mentioned by downtownresident is all around just really well done. Definitely wasn’t expecting it to turn out this well but I’m glad it did!

That was gonna be my exact comment!! Getting rid of that damn slip lane will do wonders for the pedestrian safety. 

I'm a bit peeved at the fact the garage is not screened by real square footage along Demonbruen, but overall it is a very nice looking building.

A bit more info from The Nashville Post: 

Endeavor has applied for a grading permit for the first of the two planned residential towers. That building's construction will include the addition of a turn lane from southbound 12th onto Demonbreun and the elimination of a pedestrian island at the corner.

They will go before the MDHA DRC on Tuesday, this time to seek approval for the exterior materials and streetscape elements of the two buildings.

MDHA Design Review Committee today approved the future use of materials for the twin towers.

The lights along the top of the commercial tower are really bright when seen from lower Demonbreun.  This was taken from the viaduct but I could also see them from the corner of Demonbreun and 8th.

They definitely are. It looks great straight on, but looking from the east it can be overpowering.

Building Shell permit applied for as well. I am unsure if I have posted this before but it expires in December, so it should start soon. I have not seen the demo permits applied for the buildings on the site though.

I saw this recently as well. I haven’t seen any indication that the gallery on site is closing. I think the little strip center that fronts 12th will stay until they start on phase 3.

Endeavor probably has everyone on a month to month lease, so they could be out of there in a heart beat if need be.

I am very excited about this project hoping to see a start soon, going to add to an impressive corridor one day if the Highwoods property and both of these get built out. 12 Ave S to 12th Ave N is going to feel impressive driving through.

Simmons Bank has opened their 11,900 sq. ft. corporate banking office with 25 employees in the Gulch Union office tower. They also have opened a first floor branch there as well.
