After about a year's worth of delays, it now appears that this development is finally moving forward with a year-end groundbreaking according to Ned Miller, the development manager for Beach Company.  They have enlisted Thomas & Hutton for engineering and land planning efforts.

It's a  strange looking building from that angle, very reminiscent of an Escher drawing, but I think I have it figured out.

1. Western wing has 3 levels ('podium') of what may be amenities. The pool appears to be on the rooftop of the third floor.

2. Looks like 3 levels of parking at the large (eastern) portion of this complex. Consistent with the western wing, the pool level is above the top level of parking.

3. If you count up from the pool level, there are 11 floors on the west side and 12 floors on the main eastern portion.

So if NP is reporting 10 floors, then this must be an old rendering.

It is just for the corner portion that is the staging area Turner is using. This was the old parking area for DanDgures and it is still for sale as the owner made a mistake when he did not sell to the Beach company to start with. I will bet they say Robin Realty on the sign.

Turner is just waiting on permits to start, and as usual Metro is slow about such things.
