Iconiq Capital, a huge real estate company out of San Francisco,  has just purchased the just-opened Sixth South  from The Beach Co. for an undisclosed price. It will rebrand the project Sentral SoBro.

Iconiq has enlisted Denver-based Sentral to oversee management of the apartments. Since launching in July 2021, and in addition to Nashville and Denver, the company has established a presence in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and Seattle. The company offers both furnished and non-furnished for-rent residential product, including at Sentral SoBro (at which nightly, monthly, quarterly or multiple-year stays are offered).

Sentral has gone live in 70 units with their Stay product, a boutique hotel operation, with more to come.  Traditional tenants will be eligible to home share on Airbnb for up to 150 days a year.   Home sharing goes live in this building on July 1st.

It is owned by Henry J Etal out of Atlanta. I guess he has it as an investment. The DanDgures location is owned by ATP Investments and should be selling soon to the group for the hotel.

Oak by Tabu will open on a ground level space of 3,005 sq. ft. in  Sentral. The build out will cost $600,000  with Powell serving as the contractor and architect. Tabu will feature Japanese cuisine.
