This adds 299 units to the downtown market. I wonder how many new Nashville residents that is? 

I'll guess an average occupancy of 2.2 people per unit, so 658 residents. Of course not all new to the area, but that's a lot. I guess we could add up the top 10 residential projects from downtown and get a decent guess on the new numbers. Sounds like an easy 5000 new people within just this year?

This picture captures so much of what's happening in Nashville now.  A tiny drycleaning shop that is closed because it's more valuable as a parking lot is overshadowed by a 12 story residential building.

I see the parcel at the corner whose owner(s) refused to sell is now being marketed by Robin Realty.  Good luck with that!  So serious question: What would possibly go on a lot that size in that area?

With Greystar now marketing Harlowe, I would think Beach Company starts leasing these up soon.   Though I wouldnt be surprised if this becomes all short term rentals.

Sixth South has begun pre-leasing. Besides the 299 apartments (ranging from 624 to 11,95 sq. ft.) the structure features 4,100 square feet of retail space and a parking garage. Amenities include a clubroom, a fitness center, yoga/cycling studio, pet spa and a rooftop pool.
