I bet many of these employees will live in southern Wake county too Apex, Fuquay, Holly Springs etc.   Great win for NC!

another Silicon Valley firm expanded to Raleigh Durham Cary market.  Great news and noticed they set up shop downtown (and even prime downtown office space in Raleigh is a fraction of Silicon Valley or Seattle office rates)

another tech firm from a high cost area expands to Raleigh.  This time a digital marketing firm from DC area to downtown Raleigh.  Notice this company and the company announced yesterday both located downtown.

Big job announcement coming from an Indian auto parts manufacturer coming tomorrow to Sanford just south of the metro area.

Nice! 500 jobs in a new $170M plant. And that's just for starters!

I wish they'd designate Hwy1 from I-440 to the Sanford bypass as an Interstate.  In the past they tried for I-140 but it was a no go.  But all this expansion in that area could bring back a look at this proposal.

I would love to see US 1/Capital Blvd all the way from I-85 to I-440 through downtown be designated as a freeway (either I-x85 or I-x40). It would be nice to have a freeway running through downtown especially once the new planned towers are built. Would provide travelers with an impressive view.

This Indian auto parts manufacturer could really help bring Manhindra to NC as they are looking at a couple of states.  I bet some of the employees for this plant will live in southern Wake county Cary, Apex, Holly Springs or Fuquay.

$64M distribution hub with over 1.2M sqft for Orange County for Medline Industries in Mebane.  250 jobs.  

...the company expects the center could grow to as many as 750 jobs within 10-15 years.

Raleigh Durham is ranked as the #2 best city in the prestigious PWC Emerging Trends for Real  Estate Report 2020.   City rankings start on page 27  Bested by only by  Austin,  Raleigh Durham is #2 and Nashville #3 and Charlotte at #4.  Only 2 states have 2 metros in the top 10 NC and Texas.   And learn the new term Hipsturbia!

That's a good report, I read it every year. Raleigh has been on an upward trajectory, and it is pretty impressive to be #2 out of 80 major metros. 

As you point out, the cities often cited as Raleigh's competitors also doing very well.
