Yeah, that building has been a real ... situation for a while now. It makes me think the same property owner also owns the rest of the block between the green building and Magnolia (although maybe it’s just a row of owners that aren’t great with color choices).

Whoever has been selecting paint colors the last couple of repaints for all of those structures doesn’t quite have a “design” eye, unfortunately. The Kinko’s building, in particular, could look much cooler than it is if designed & painted with a bit more finesse.

I like it.

It's colorful and has great contrast between the building and the overhang.

I think there are a few members on this forum who tend to think bland, generic, pedestrian colors on buildings is somehow chic or hip.

BORING.

I wish the building next to it was painted blue.

We wanted to paint them all white just for @JFW657!

Personally, I think painting all the buildings downtown a lovely shade of pink would be FABULOUS...

I recall back in the 80's and possibly 90's when these buildings on Ivanhoe Row....

 

....were all painted different colors.

I liked it because it made it look like a little European village or something.

Then someone with a "design eye" decided to paint them all white.

Cold and BORING.

You’ll certainly get no argument from me - I like colors as opposed to my parents who got locked into beige and brown in the ‘70’s and never escaped.

Just no TEAL, please...

That hasn't been updated in a while. The Orange/Robinson project is only shown as proposed.

Yes, but the listing on Loopnet and Acre indicate the same thing... all spaces are available although one space looks like it might be taken since there are 11 units and only 10 listings.

@Alyssa So much agreed.  I can't wait until it starts to occupy and that northern part of downtown gets busier.  I suspect this will be a boon to the post office block and FedEx block and we'll start seeing new retail spring up there.
