This one's going to be brick and masonry all the way to the top, right?     Such a welcome change to the brick at street level then stucco or hardie board everywhere else pattern we see so often.

Yup! This is shaping up to be an attractive addition to the neighborhood.

I have problems recognizing new buildings now without looking at the headers. I never know which one it is anymore and I pass them all the time.

A couple of top LA hospitality experts will create and operate a rooftop bar and coffee shop at The Graduate Hotel.  Marc Rose and Med Abrous of award-winning cocktail bar The Spare Room, iconic LA Chinese restaurant Genghis Cohen and notable restaurant Winsome will spearhead the food and beverage options. No names or concepts announced yet.

Here are is a photo of this from yesterday. I like the brick. Being from St. Louis, this is the type of stuff that many of us would want to fill in our Laclede's Landing area or Washington Avenue. Of course, Three Thirty Three is another example. Can't wait to see the finished product on this.

I have been quick to disparage a lot of the stucco-clad trash they are throwing up in SoBro (Margaritaville, Drury, Haven at the Gulch, etc.) so let me also give credit where credit is due... This building is BEAUTIFUL! Contemporary, yet classic.

Where before there was literally just fast food surrounded by uninspired hospital architecture, these folks could have taken this building in any direction (so many of them wrong) and they have NAILED it! I will take 50 more of what these guys are doing on every surface parking lot in Midtown/West End!

^^Anytime developers can use red / brown brick or stonework, it's a plus in Nashville.  Has a classic look and blends in well.

 Very unique and distinctive interior design.  Quite a contrast from the traditional brick exterior design.  I’m sure this hotel will get lots of buzz and attention.  I like it.

I LOVE that design.  Not what I expected...but so fun!  That Minnie Pearl image is insanely cool!

Interesting design, but I think areas will look dated fairly quickly.

It looks to be designed for the female traveler. I don’t think many guys are going to like the decor and finishes. It’s cool for what it is though.
