Excuse my ignorance, but isn’t their lease expiring in 2019? It was my understanding that Wells Fargo had intentions of occupying more of the current DEC and essentially pushing them out. I’m sure I’m mistaken. Can anyone enlighten me on the most likely course of action?

Does anyone park in that lot on S Tryon between the Harvey B Gantt and St Peters Church?  Reason I am asking they will be the first to know when this is getting ready to start possibly a few months in advance.  I think this will start without fanfare aka like Legacy but as I stated before owning a building to house the majority of your employees is so much cheaper in the long run. Obviously with all the rate change discussion it was delayed but they did not buy this land to sit on it.  If you think Legacy's BOAT was secretive I am betting this one will be too.  A someone stated (we have to protect his sources LOL) that this could start this fall.

The lot from Tryon to College has a slope and I don't know how much parking they would do underground as it is so expensive.   But I would not think it would affect the parking garage under the Green.
