Sucks, will probably be the last 600+ tower for awhile. 

Yeah probably. I’m am glad for it this tower. Bummed that it went from being a new 3rd tallest to being fifth. Although, I suppose it may appear the same size or bigger than BOAT because even though BOAT is 632’ I think the pyramid counts for about 100’ of that. Plus it’s pretty definitive where that pyramid starts at 532’.

That’s so crazy to think lol. (Not surprised tho) basically if it didn’t have the pyramid and were flat, it would be around the height of the Vue.

I feel very fortunate this tower of this magnitude got off the ground before the pandemic.  This may be the tallest u/c project we'll see for awhile (hopefully for not too long).  From Mgelbach's incredible drone pics...just shows how dense and awesome that new intersection is going to be when everything is all said and done.  Makes me really wish that Levine Avenue was closed to cars.  Being that it's in our arts district, that would be the perfect closed off street to have rotating street murals.  Fin & Fino and Reids food could expand their outdoor dining.  And unlike closing trade and tryon, this street closure would have minimal impact.

Really wish the proposed video wall facing Tryon didn't get VEed from the bottom of the tower.  Would have been a cool feature facing Tryon and for that intersection.  The back of this tower is still a mystery too (rendering wise)...will be interesting to see how this unfolds back there.
