How much cooler would that Ally building have been if that corner really was cut out like that so it became a multi-story covered balcony but the concrete frame continued like normal?

talked to Mr CLT Development the other day and the height is 619 feet not sure why someone is posting in the upper 500s on Wikipedia.  Anyway here is the building today from all around and my perch.    DEP is looking great!

Man, it's really becoming a cluster F by that Tryon/Stonewall intersection (in a good way lol).  Hopefully, we can get some decent height on the corner of LU across from Deloitte to really create that canyon feel.  I'm still curious on the retail layout of this project.  I know someone's mentioned before that the parking deck has retail facing College st.  I hope there's some retail facing the plaza and Tryon st side as well.  Just interested in seeing the plans for that.

Drive by photo and my niece thought the new DEP was taller than the DEC at least from Tryon St.   It is all in the top!  Topping out at 619!
