concrete has been finished for a few weeks on the tower, they are waiting for the steel to arrive, labor shortage is screwing up everything including steel production.

Duke doesn't have anything to do with the lighting display at the DEC. It is actually managed by Wells Fargo who owns the building. Wells has the "Wells Fargo Lighting Committee" program and coordinate requests for lighting at the DEC.  https://stories.wf.com/clt-lights/

Charlotte Center City Partners also helps coordinate lighting for all the buildings Uptown and sends a spreadsheet with requests from organizations to all the different property owners / managers of Uptown towers.

I think @DMann may have been referring to the "Quadrille" lighting feature on the 526 S. Church St building.

I will be glad when the ski slope top is installed on DEP but understand it could be in the Pacific waiting or even south Atlantic off Savannah.  anyway still looks good.

To the person who keeps making this tower shorter in wikipedia shame on you it is not even done.  They keep shorting it below 600 feet.   Hey CK when is my historic parking fee hut could be ready for pickup?
