Sometimes it's good to show the not-so-glamorous shot.  The shot of the DEP and downtown is from West Summit Ave not far from the train tracks. 

Lots were happening today from the soccer match to usual fare of bars restaurants as I rode around on my bike.

What a good looking structure.  Can’t wait to see the effects of the Aesthetic Nighttime Lighting for this building.  Probably be testing it by years end.

To me, this building has the biggest impact from this view - heading N on Park at the intersection of Park and Fairview.  I always loved the view from this light.  I look forward to red lights here. I’m weird.

Looks really close to finishing. And seems like not long after it's done we'll turn our attention to the Riverside project - blessed to have a constant stream of skyscraper construction like this.

I'll admit when I'm wrong.  Now that the exterior is pretty much complete my opinion of this has softened quite a bit.  It doesn't look quite a similar to the power tower as I thought it would and they actually complement each other nicely.

Its a beautiful building, but I see a missed opportunity orienting the angular top towards Tryon St. and the West, instead of facing East towards Midtown.  Driving in Providence, all you see is the guts of the top...having the angular top point East would have give the skyline more girth and intrigue too.

Agreed.  Also wish the building had been set back toward College Street (much like Truist).

Such a great building but it is easily lost amongst the other towers.

If it were anywhere else in the skyline, away from other buildings, it would look more amazing.

Imagine the impact this building would make in other cities, yet here it is invisible from certain angles when looking at the skyline.

One has to wonder how and why the decision was made to angle the top this way? The placement makes sense because of the footprint and having the front of the tower on Tryon Street. But we all can agree that though this is a beautiful tower there were also  many missed opportunities that go along with it.

Admittedly though it's cool to be in a position where a major skyscraper can get lost in a skyline. That's a sign of an impressive skyline.

They might have built a 1000'er if they'd known they'd not have to obey EPA rules anymore. 

The office density here is now phenomenal, but I'm interested to see how much of the space is actually occupied in the post-pandemic world.
