College St is lower then Tryon,  but not sure 15' lower.

Update: College St is about 15' lower so from College St it is about 643.9

I love how the glass angles inward and gets narrower toward the top. Should be a sharp looking tower with some nice visual interest.

I still think the tower should front College to be more offset from DEC, but I understand why they chose to front Tryon. I'll settle for a couple of retail spots on College. 

Interesting how they're treating the south facing side. The window cut-out should look nice against the Gantt Center. So excited!

The glass panels on the outside are blue and reflective, 

The glass in the inset areas is greener and transparent. Its going to have great contrast. 

The front white 8 floor facade is ALL VIDEO WALL.

Really like the building overall.  On the skyline, it is just different enough to standout.

The Tryon side ground level seems like it could have more retail and maybe a plaza type area.  But, overall, I do like it.

Question - Does the black line below at the base indicate the width of the lot? I'm trying to visualize how wide this is going to be and how flush it's going to appear against the Gantt center and the church.

I think everyone has changed. I used to be a much lighter shade of green. Now I'm a little blue.

As for retail per all the approved plans on Accela there is a total of 13,211Sqft retail, 7687 Tryon side and 5525 Collage

In its current form. Might get lucky and add a few floors. In the scheme of things that doesn't matter. Great looking tall ass drink of water.

Really nice that it will abut Harvey Gantt. Not sure I love the alley in this form but that's such a minor complaint. Media mesh is awesome in that spot. 

Now just interested what kind of lighting scheme it will grace us with.

Love the media mesh at this location, the area has so much potential for large events with the Mint, Bechtler, and Avenue of the Arts right across the street. 

It would be great to close down Tryon one year for the NFL draft like they did in Nashville this year, that was great press for the city.
