Nice photos KJ. I wish we had vantage points of the other angles of this tower, specifically college st side. I cant remember or not, but I hope there is some decent street level stuff on that side since it wont be a hotel (parking deck). With the convention center, would be smart to put a lot of retail along the deck.

Either way, DEC2 is filling up a very big gap on tryon and that area is going to feel so much different in a few years. Who is trade and tryon...it's going to be stonewall and tryon now lol jk.

Two floors of retail (or active space) and a grand staircase going up to the ground level retail alley, plus parking deck ingress/egress.

Wouldn’t it be funny (sad funny) if this wound up having more retail than Legacy Union ?

For me the only downside about this is the loss of that one side of the Harvey Gantt Center.  That wall is really cool, and it will basically be invisible after the tower is built. :(

Honestly, I was thinking the opposite.  I never really liked that concrete wall despite the design.  To each his own.  Fortunately, though, Charlotte is getting another great tower.

No more Renderings of this building?

They would have been posted if there were. I've asked and that's all they have to provide.
