Thank goodness we have all these massive construction sites uptown working right now they are keeping many quick serve places in business like Potbellyand other sandwich shops since the office workers are gone.  Anyway from afar and walk by photos of the site of the next great tower of Charlotte.

Perhaps by end of next week they will pour the first half of this deck. Then shortly thereafter officially have columns sticking well above street level.
I’m not sure but I think at some point above ground they will be using precast double tees for the floor system which if I remember correctly is what they used for the DEC building right across the street. If that’s the case, other than forming and pouring the columns and elevator cores in place I’d think this will start to rise at a much quicker pace. (Unless they just shut it down because the sky is falling or run out of sand for concrete [emoji12]).

Based upon the footprint, it appears that this tower will have a large plaza along Tryon Street.

I have yet to figure out the footprint tbh. The hole in the back is that just parking and will only go 6/7 floors? What’s formed/shaped now is what will rise 42 floors?

Thanks it does!  I was just re looking up in Accela as well.   628ft from Tryon to the top.   Is this final at this point?   Also I think should count from Collage as would as prob add 30 feet to that number.

Yeesh, way to just turn your back to College. I sure wish a smaller hotel tower were fronting that side to face the convention center. But, I guess we can't be beggars in this case.

That's the Tryon frontage first floor.  The College St level is mostly retail.

yea. kinda hard to photoshop that without spending more than a few min. Its two different grades. Retail facing both directions.
