with the massive growth in Brunsco (Brunswick county) this county better be added back to metro Wilmington.  Leland has exploded into a suburb of Wilmington and most of the growth in the southern end of county towards Myrtle Beach has been more age targeted communities i.e. retirees not commuting anywhere.  Brunswick county is lot like Alamance which is torn between being apart of the Raleigh Durham metro and Greensboro.   But I do think now more commute to New Hanover County and Wilmington if they leave the county and this county should leave the metro Myrtle Beach area.

that is a huge neighborhood for Leland already the largest town in Brunswick County.
