Bourbon Bowl in downtown Greensboro located in South End set to open in a few weeks. Boutique Bowling alley with a restaurant, bar and beer garden patio complete with outdoor tvs, and a water/fire fountain. It is a rehab project from a 1940s era building at the corner of South Elm and Lewis Streets. Much of the material used for the cool patio features was reused from material inside the building. The coolest downtown Greensboro rehab I've ever seen. This place is definitely going to be in high demand and will probably be difficult trying to get a lane especially on weekends.

The industrial fan on the wall slowly spins.

$200m high-tech sawmill coming to Weldon in Halifax County.  Roseburg Forest Products plans to start construction next year on a 375,000 square foot facility that will employ over 100 people.  The jobs will have an average salary of $50,000, well above the countywide average of $34,000.  This is huge for the region.

Toyota has selected the Greensboro-Randolph megasite for its first U.S. EV battery plant. Hints were also given at the press conference that it could one day expand to assemble electric cars. Initially the plant will hire 1,700 workers but will expand to 3,800.

Also a major aircraft company is looking to build an aircraft manufacturing plant at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro. It would employ 1,700 workers. The name of the company hasn't been revealed but its a real possibility we could see a company on par with Boeing or Lockheed Martin. Piedmont Triad International Airport already has the world headquarters and manufacturing plant for Honda Aircraft Company.
