Good news: There is construction fencing up as well as a small Banner stating 'LMC' on it, so does seem like a December start is very possible.

Fwiw.....permits were issued for the tower foundation on Monday.  Contractor paid the permit fee.

I will swing by next week heading up to La Belle Helene for lunch with a good friend.  Please submit any other uptown requests as well.  I love uptown the week between Christmas and New Years the parking is much more available LOL

It was raining so hard the yesterday I could not even walk a block but will check that out too.

Thanks!  My next trip to Charlotte won't be until late January when I take my kids to Great Wolf Lodge and then swing by our old house for old time's sake and to Macs.  Hopefully, the crown will be done by then and maybe some parts of the façade on Tryon Place will have been installed.

Nah theres a lot of work before facade happens. I'd expect facade starts down low is april.

Walked by yesterday and nothing significant.  Still just the fencing that has been up and pictured before. 

It does look like a couple medium size bush/trees were recently uprooted and laying around.  Also a bobcat machine and one of the mini backhoe machines parked.  They probably did the up rooting.

Just walked by here and there is legitimate earth being moved now. Several big machines digging and breaking up stuff. There is also now more robust fencing up around the whole site. I’d say this is officially underway at this point.

Lennar seems to have a good business acumen.  Their midrise New Bern apartments will probably be fully leased up by the time these midrise/High Rise apartments deliver in mid 2020.  I just hope the hotel portion begins construction by June 2019

When you drive by this lot, it seems like soooo much land will be used. Its going to be one of the largest (height) apartment buildings in Charlotte.  It will be the 4th tallest residential building, and 20th overall in the city once completed.

Aren’t we nearing a maturing phase of multi family developments in the Uptown market?  Does this mean these projects probably won’t be completed before a recession?
