You're correct.  Fence is to the curb on 8th except for a 15-20 foot area seemingly left just for her.  Coincidentally about where she is standing 1 year per google maps.

Lake Lennar at Ellis square has disappeared as my photo today shows.  They were moving mud even today.  And a photo of 9th St behind me.

Lake Lennar at Ellis has reappeared and the woman who lives on the block has moved up the sidewalk some still on Block 42.  From ground and above today.  Part of Charlotte Rising.

Will there still be a road between the apartment complex and the tracks? like an actual road and not just for the use of this building.

Yes called Market Street but I think it will be a private maintained road open to public.

There is a Market Street in Charlotte already however you can use a similar name like Market Plaza St  or City Market St or something.  Here is the marketing brochure on the retail space at the new tower.

Having a duplicate Market Street may not be a problem as long as nothing is actually addressed to it. Either way, when they build it, they have to submit the names for review by the City, so they'll catch it at that point.

It may also not be a big deal since its in a different zip code. Have you ever seen how many Oak Streets there are in Charlotte? It's several.
