The Ellis – 33 Floor Apartment Tower – Lennar does what Levine couldn't.

Recommended Posts

I saw this article from the Ledger this morning whilst eating my Krispy Kreme doughnut and having my coffee in Augusta.  I applaud and thank them for making some calls.  While I believe the accuracy of the story not sure I still believe the source which is Mr Levine himself.   My additional questions would be does he have financing in place for these apartments?   I still don't understand why the garage could have not been opened in the meantime thus generating revenue.   However big thanks to Ledger for doing some investigative reporting!   I understand a redesign but that has taken at least a year from my memory.  As for the workers please if anyone sees some get a photo.

I can only hope this project the apartments 12 stories tall comes to fruition.   As for the Ledger please tell me where to deliver the dozen of the best sweet doughnuts in the world.

I'll be spending the next 6 years perfecting my shoe leather bbq sauce, because I'll eat a shoe if this is occupied by 2025.

Speaks volumes.

I've noticed a handful of work trucks in the lot beside the garage a few times this week on the morning commute in. Will try taking a few pics next week.

^Most OxBlue cams are set to take a photo every 12 minutes. For Levine, you’d only need to set it for once every 12 months.

12 years*

So Levine repeats what he said to the Charlotte Observer 2 years ago and that is considered news?

At the risk of splitting hairs, I think the news was that they started demolition on the existing columns, indicating progress.  We will see whether it comes to fruition, but I don't think The Ledger was simply recycling an old Observer story.

dont worry since Legacy is done and Ally Center is topped off I dont have as much to work with but the Legacy 2 tower, the FNB Tower, the Lennar Ellis tower, the Intercontinental, the Honeywell Tower, the Lendingtree new HQ, the new Lowes tech tower and of course this one Duke Metro Tower.    It is a big job but if you think I don't  take enough photos I will owe you a Judges BBQ meal!

I look at all your photos being in Raleigh. I only get to Charlotte like 4 times a year these days. So thanks.
