simply changing the color of the top floor windows would do a lot for this building.

As odd as it may sound, I liked it a little better with that row of windows missing.  It added a little bit of visual interest instead of it just being a solid blue rectangle.  Nonetheless, I'm glad this is nearing completion, mainly because it means that Tony G can move on to something that is hopefully even bigger and better!

Its height is great, but sorry, it's incredibly boring. And the fact that the top three floors (?) are different heights from the rest, yet still have the same glass, bugs me and my OCD.

That's what I've been saying.  It had that cool industrial look that it will lack with all windows.  Oh well...still a nice addition to the skyline...but still waiting on Tony's Siggy!

It looks fine. I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but I really hope that in twenty years this building is nondescript in the downtown skyline.

Yes, though I think it may be too tiny a footprint for something substantial (at least without demolishing the building just to the west of it).

Behind paywall but the scoop is that 126 of the units will be short term rentals managed by Stay Alfred.  193 will be condos and the remaining 180 to be apartments.  I went to the Stay Alfred website and was surprised to see the number of other new apartments that have listings on their site.
