I'm looking at the tower right now and it appears to have a color changing test on the corner top of the tower

I'll have to check it out on the new city view cam on Fox 17's website. Their night cam is in color unlike WKRN.

I could see what you are talking about! It's on the top right corner if you are looking at the building from the ASC. It seems to have a strobe effect. Wish I could get a closer look. This new cam is not quite the same orientation as WKRN's cam . You can actually see the color of the fins on Bridgestone.

I think Tony G will give us a 700+ footer before he retires in next 15 years during the next cycle. I think a great spot would be the parking lot right off of Church in front of the old library.  That would be a insane project to pull off but I think he has built a lot of credibility in the development world with all he has done since the Cumberland in 99.

That's the Hotel Tulane site, which I've brought up several times as a great location for "Siggy."

I'm def not saying this building is ugly, but this weekend I was thinking how unimpressive it is.  As I was driving towards downtown I was staring at the skyline and realized that this building doesn't grab my attention. It should dominate the skyline with how much larger it appears than the Batman building, yet to me it still gets lost. I love having this in the skyline because it adds density, and yes this is beating a dead horse but how much more impressive could this have been with some sort of spire or design. I know things like that cost, but to me that makes the difference of this being "the" building in Nashville from just another one.  Sure we will eventually have a new tallest (right???), but with this location I doubt a building could have changed the skyline as much as this one could have.

I believe a crown similar to the SunTrust Plaza in Atlanta would have fit nicely with the design of 505. Definitely would have given it more height, depth, and presence.
