E+Rose Wellness Cafe will open its 3rd Nashville location on the main floor on the eastern side of of 505 CST thus offering pedestrian visibility from both Church Street and Fifth.   a recently issued permit to allow for the build-out of the 1,400-square-foot space is valued at $190,000. Nashville-based Solomon Builders is the general contractor.

This will be a good addition to this residential neighborhood.  I've eaten at the other locations several times and can attest to the taste, healthiness, and a decent menu.

505 CST will offer the 140 units that had been part of Stay Alfred short-term-rentals as regular apartments.  Prices start a $1,495 per month.  Stay Alfred, a national chain based out of Washington state, has gone out of business due to the pandemic.

NBJ reports that  Tony Giarratana is offering free rent for new tenants at his 505.  Specifically, renters who sign a lease for one of the 140 apartments that hotel concept Stay Alfred has vacated. New tenants won't have to pay rent until January (rents begin at $1,495 a month for the newly refurbished units). "Given how difficult 2020 has been for all of us, we wanted to offer an incredible special when renters are likely to need it most," Giarratana said
