They've setup a huge event tent across the MCC on the other side of KVB next to the police station.  Anyone know what's going on?

One of the members in another thread stated he thinks it's for an official construction ground-breaking ceremony for Jan 16, I believe.

You said next to the police?  Then it beats me.  Sorry.

I'm glad they desire to stay downtown! Politics & opinions aside, they have been a big part of Nashville's business environment for a long time and I hope their contribution sticks around for a while longer.

Politics and opinions also aside, I agree with you. It just makes me wonder why they are even considering a move. It's a prime location, yet semi-private. Honestly, I think they have what billion dollar companies can only dream of. A private campus in a city center. Maybe I just answered my own question.

Looks good! I feel like it could look a tad better, more coverage, but I will take it over what it was.

Will look great being Orange and White when Tennessee's team comes to play at LP Field this year  :shades:

I agree. Some of the lights are still not working. Didn't the article say the project is done? I think the lights that are red need to be repositioned so they cover more of the base of the spires. Looks too patchy.

wow, the street view that the article links to is so out of date, it is uncanny.  12 12 wasnt even started. and it looks like pine street wasnt either.

I was saying the same thing...that view is from 2011. If you drag the street view right down to 12th ave S, it jumps to April 2014 and 1212 is under construction and has Laurel street blocked, so the Google maps car could not get that portion of Laurel St.
