The owners of SoBro Guest House will go before the Metro Development and Housing Agency Design Review Committee on Tuesday, Dec. 5, to seek further approval related to additions that will accommodate a ground-level bar, a rooftop deck and offices/storage space.

The article says those buildings will not be available  unless Philips amends their timeline.

A very positive read. I would not be surprised if Philips continued to grown its numbers in Nashville well above the 800 being discussed.

So if those buildings don't meet the timelines for Philips, where are they going to go?  Do any existing office buildings have 100,000 sq feet available?

222 2nd might, although they may not be continuous levels. I know there are a few floors of the L&C tower and a floor or two of One Nashville Place, if they want to split up their offices for a few years while they find a permanent solution. But these solutions will of course conflict with their desire to have prominent signage in the skyline.

Perhaps they would be interested in temporarily being in the old Bridgestone Building out near I-40 and Briley Parkway off of Elm Hill Pike?

If anyone knows any Pinnacle higher-ups, casually mention how unimposing and uninspiring their current building is. As aggressively as they’ve been expanding and hiring in recent years, maybe they’ll throw up a super tall in a fit of pride ;)

As much as Pinnacle has grown 1 don’t think they are even close to needing another tower. In terms of assets, for comparison, they are 1/100th the size of Bank of America. 1 would guess it would be another 5-10 years, probably closer to 10, assuming they maintain an incredible growth record before they need another tower. Most likely 1 could see they just taking up more space in their current tower. Anyone know what percent of it they currently lease? Just my two cents.
