You are up pretty early. This is awesome space and they were able to replace those southern wall enclosures with windows which happened or went through the historic folks because they (Hastings) found some early plans that showed windows in all those openings / areas.

A five building set of 3 story townhomes featuring 13 units surrounding a central courtyard will be built at 1314 5th Ave. North in Germantown.  Forty Rutledge Street is the owner of the .7 acre site. MDHA Review Committee will vote on the plan Tuesday, May 21.

ServiceSource International is scouting for new office space, reportedly downtown.  They currently take up about half of the 20 story tower with their name at the top at 201 4th Ave. North since 2010.  They employ 720 people, and appear to be expanding.  It is not clear if they are wanting to stay in that building, or move to another larger home.

The article mentions them seeking 100k sqft. 20k less than their current lease.

I’ve been told that the article is wrong. They are definitely not downsizing. Also they are not doing great as a company which doesn’t make sense.

I could show you  a lot of closed streets and sidewalks due to construction just around downtown and West Campus.    Unless you are only referring to entire streets and not just lanes.

San Francisco-based Postmates, which opened an office in Nashville in 2016 and currently has about 500 employees here, is set to lease a 100,000 square foot building in MetroCenter and expand its local workforce by another 500, maybe even 1,000.

OK....now we know:  the 20' high digital sign at Symphony Way and 4th Ave. South is, indeed, for the Schermerhorn and all their activities.  It will be operational by June.  The marquee will offer video displays and be adorned with “Schermerhorn Symphony Center” and “Laura Turner Hall.”

First Baptist Church has landed a $27 million permit for the 78,760 sq. ft. addition and renovation work on some of their existing structure.  R.C. Matthews is the contractor.
