According the The Nashville Post article:  Opened in 1950 as the original Bell South local headquarters, the building was tentatively converted to condos in 2000 though not officially occupied until 2005 after developer Ron McClaron finalized its transition.

The 3 story, 6,300 sq. ft. 1890s-era structure at 216 3rd Ave. North has sold for $2.5 million  to Frank Miles of Compass Real Estate. It last sold for $695,000 eleven years ago. No word on plans for the building yet.

Tree removal permit pulled for project at 1501 Herman St.

This is the same company that is doing a couple of other projects around Marathon Village.

136 Rosa L. Parks Blvd. (.13 acre, single story, 5,365 sq. ft. building from 1919) has sold for $3.1 million to a Georgia based LLC of unknown name. Ned Horton is the seller, and he purchased the site for $385,000 in 2011.

810 Jefferson  (4 structures of 3 & 4 stories, 34 units)  has landed a $6.2 million permit to get started on construction via ZMX, Inc. Powell Studio is the architect. M Cubed is the developer.
