After a 25-year run, Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery has ceased operations at 111 Broadway. It was originally called Big River Grille & Brewing Works.  I appears that KC Whiskey River may be the replacement in the 1930-era structure that also houses the Glen Campbell Museum and Twisted Tenders restaurant.

Hmmm, I know there can be multiple entities with the name Whiskey River, but Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a bar/restaurant brand that is currently in airports named Whiskey River. I wonder if Dale (who loves Nashville and is a big endorser of the Fairgrounds) could be involved with the project. Dale Jr. has licensed out his Whiskey River brand to a handful of brick and mortar restaurants (notably a failed one in Myrtle Beach).

109 Rosa L. Parks Blvd. (unknown project by Joe Barker) update: fencing up, some digging underway.

I have a feeling this is an old issued permit being fulfilled by the owner. Below is a permit for a rolling fence for the property issued last year.
