Fat Bottom Brewery is expanding into the former Pancho & Lefty's location at 104 Rep. John Lewis Way South (5th Av,. South--just south of Broadway). A $660,000 permit  has been granted to MTLC Building Group for the build-out.   It will include the existing 2 floors of 3,400 sq. ft. (over 100 years old) and an updated 203 sq. ft. rooftop deck.  Building Ideas Architecture is in charge of the design.

There may be now be another large project in the works. We have had to be mum about this one for a while, but we still do not know the developer or how large it will be, but it should significant and take up a big chunk of real estate.

I've always thought that's a cool very old looking building. The colonial architecture and its size make me think it's an original (pre-1900) building in downtown. I don't know if it is.  I think that buildings like that are important to have in a booming city where so many large modern buildings are rising around it. It is a bit of a reminder that the city has been "here" for a lot longer.

I could be very wrong but I was told that the attached building to the lady is the oldest structure downtown. I would love to know if that is true

I've seen on here that we have 47 cranes up. Is there a way to compare to the other Sun Belt cities that aren't on here? At least we lead the cities in the US that are shown!

I have heard Nashville is booming, which is great. While we would like to include cities such as Nashville, Dallas etc., we currently focus on the cities where we have an office presence. The research is conducted by local experts through several methods, including a physical count.

 

Hopefully, we will be able to include these cities in the future. Please let me know if you have additional questions.

The Smith guy specifically refers to the homeless and criminals including the drug dealers. He's not complaining about tourists. You have to wonder why dummies like Spyridon and his ilk going after hot dog and gyro street vendors instead of the homeless.
