Def.  It's that way in the renders.   Also peak is being generous.  Looks more like 15/20 feet will be above.  Seems like they could have easily had a whole other floor of apartments.  These are going to be priced right too and be snap up quick.

Super strange. Could definitely fit another floor above. Must have run out of parking.

Wish I worked at RailYard. Live in one of the apartments, 1 min walk to the office, Rhino for lunch, Wooden Robot for dessert.

traffic blocked near Railyard today so some good photos.  I noticed they now have 3 office tenants signs up and with the upcoming retail to have signage for sure too this building will have a  lot of signs.  Not sure how I feel about that.  Allstate signage is not shown but here are the others.  Micro apartments up to 3rd level no photo today.   Last photo bonus shot of beer garden across the street.

couple of drive by photos today with bonus photo of beer garden and the Dimensional Funds bldg.    So there are 3 corporate names on the Railyard so far  Allstate, Parsons, WeWork.

Beautiful. One thing I always appreciate in the south end area are the pockets of historic structures. Last few pics are some older buildings across from Railyard on the side street. I like the old chimneys and if you look down, sometimes you can spot remnants of structures past (as evident in the several bricks near the sidewalk) Enjoy these things while we still have time...

Up close and afar the Railyard and yes this looks great no wonder it is 100% leased and started totally spec   Today from my Southend walkabout.

Anybody think they should have left out the grass to have space for hangout tables and chairs? The grass isn't really big enough to do anything in but look at while walking inside. The courtyard is beautiful and could be a nice spot to relax outside and chat to enjoy this beautiful building.

Especially with a vibrant trim color around the doors and windows. Everything pops

This is such a great project - I can't believe the power lines weren't buried as part of the work.  When is burying lines going to become a standard requirement with new development in Charlotte?  Seems crazy.

This stretch is maybe the most shocking in how bad the lines are, how much development is taking place, and the fact that Tryon is the city's main street and this is the corridor leading to the heart of SouthEnd, a hot neighborhood for development AND one that specifically has special tax for aesthetic improvements.

I get your joke... but technically NCDOT is building a rail yard in the background of this photo

the apartments behind Railyard will block the garage from street level though it will stick up above the apartments but at least walking or driving by you won't see it.  This evening.

Up close and personal with the Railyard.  This building looks great inside and out!   Love it.  My newest perch.  Lots of exposed steel inside which is really cool and no wonder it is 100% leased at opening.

Dorian drove me from the coast now back in my Southend office.  Lots of construction on the apartments today.  and some inside photos of the Railyard lobby really hip.  This is a GREAT project.
