One of the most amazing songwriters of our era, Jim Steinman, passed away Monday at 73.

The incredible thing about Steinman was his ability to write over the top, operatic compositions that not only were incredibly powerful from someone like Meat Loaf by even fluffy popsters like Air Supply and the king of schmaltz in the pop era, Barry Manilow.

It’s hard to imagine a writer that prolific coming along again anytime soon. May he rest in peace.

It’s instructive to see the results from the Hennepin County legal system today and contrast it with Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd’s performance with our governor yesterday.

OK - I’m getting my J&J COVID shot Monday since I only have to get one dose of it. Here’s hoping I have no rogue blood clots.

Hopefully, I can ditch the mask outdoors away from groups after being vaccinated. Yay for a wee dose of normal again!

Cheers. I have been fully vaccinated for a couple of weeks and it is so nice to be able to relax. I do not understand why some people are hesitant.

It seems Lakeland - Winter Haven was one of the fastest growing metros in 2020. So, do they all wanna hang out at Legoland or just be one of the cool kids if @dcluley98 moves down there?
