Strange to see them start bricking midway up the tower. Anyone have the number of apartments and dorm beds in just the tower?

More crown height being added to the tower. above the 20th floor.  Also, a new tower crane in the SE corner of the lot, and foundation work on the eastern quadrant of dorms is now underway for the below grade levels.

The new building really sticks out from 440 driving in from the west. A very solid addition.

Brick work continues on tower. Stone/brick trim on western section dorms nearly complete (so handsome). Foundation walls on eastern section dorms progressing.

It's a handsome building/complex. I do think there is a little too much of the stonework at the corners. A bit distracting.

I love this development but think I agree about the stonework. I like the idea, but it does seem a bit much on the corners. Looks like the building blew up and they pieced it back together. Very handsome buildings though. And that tower!

I agree, there is a lot of things going on that seem way over done.  The dorms further east on Broadway seem much more appropriate and classy, these seem almost gaudy.

I love the stone/brick work, it adds an exuberant Victorian feel to what otherwise felt like a dull and timid psuedo-Oxbridge imitation.  I wonder if/hope we're moving back into an era of liberally applied ornamentation-we're definitely seeing some lovely brickwork on several new buildings.  I especially like the irregular veins of stone on the sides.
