Hoping that stonework ages with a darker patina to blend better with the brick.

I agree. Does anyone else find that the stonework clashes pretty brutally with the gray prefrab Gothic detailing (windows, archways, etc.)?

Brick work, stone trim, and windows installed up thru 16th floor of tower.  Eastern dorm foundation walls up to street level.

I'd like to see a full panorama shot from that spot after all the towers (tall and the two 'junior' towers) are completed; and include the Bronson Ingram and Kirkland towers.

Such a contrast to the abundance of junky 1960s-80s architecture surrounding the campus and Greek houses on Kensington. But they have to start somewhere, and Vandy did that with a huge bang. I'm eager to visit soon just to see the landscaping. Would love a tour inside the buildings, but don't think that's going to happen soon.

^ I think they're counting on it! That section of dorms must be ready for students by next fall semester.
