Which Florida teams are doing the best job of filling their stadia?

https://twitter.com/aucfv/status/1260919965844193281?s=21

A shout-out to the Gators. After some problems earlier in the 2010’s, not only did they sell most of their tickets in 2019 (and to the largest stadium), what’s particularly impressive is they did it for a location that’s not exactly convenient to travel to.

While that was once the norm in college football, as more urban programs are developing competitive teams, that has led to challenges for schools in the middle of nowhere. Go Gators!

Interesting- J.T. Daniel, the wunderkind who took the top QB job after Dillon Gabriel turned down USC for UCF, is transferring to UGA (DG also turned down Those Damn ‘Dawgs).

Ironically, the Old Guard insisted DG had made a fatal error when he passed up SoCal for the halcyon precincts of Greater Oviedo. We, of course, knew better..

First, the good news: 24/7 Sports predicts UCF will go to the NY6 bowl this year.

The bad news: if they do, it’s predicted we’ll lose Coach Heup because the buyout becomes much cheaper after this season.

It’s interesting that Randy Fine has a problem with UCF’s stadium being named after a legitimate roofing company but he has no problem with stadia and arenas named for racists at two of  our three legacy schools.

Dude’s priorities are a mess. Do better, Brevard.

And the hits just keep on coming! Awesome Knights hoop player Collin Smith has decided to forgo the NBA draft and play another season at UCF.

After yesterday’s news about CJ Walker, it’s looking like another incredible season at the A+ Arena.

What Coach D is building among the palmetto scrubs is truly amazing.
