Edgewater and Wynwood areas of Miami north of downtown today.   Warm and 77 today just not full sun. These condo and apartment towers are 30-50 stories ranging up to 650 feet or so. and some of the famous Wynwood Walls.

It is the one of the top 3 skylines in the USA only NY and Chicago are better.  But this is a far better place to live in!

I visited years ago. Very vibrant culturally, and best of all..no snow. Really liked the pedestrianized shopping and dining area that is Lincoln Rd in South Beach.

Lots of photos of downtown Miami and Brickell area.   Warm and muggy walk.  Lots of photos.  Check out the new 66 story Aston Martin condo tower along the Miami River.  It is very sleek and tallest for now all residential building south of NYC at 817 feet tall 66 floors.

This is just the Brickell area south of the Miami River where massive development and high rises are being built.   Brickell City Center will grow again with new office tower too. 

saw the new 830 Brickell office tower  55 stories over 1 M sq ft office space now 100% preleased I am told.   724 feet tall!

Sunny Isles Beach has the TALLEST buildings directly on the ocean anywhere in the western  hemisphere and for sure on the Atlantic Ocean.   (I think one taller buildings is on the Australian Queensland coast)  They have 9 buildings over 600 feet and a total of 14 over 500 feet.  truly an amazing skyline from either the Collins Ave side or the ocean side.

The growth in Miami is just unbeliveable.  And this is from someone who comes almost every year.  Downtown and Brickell have many many towers going on or getting ready to start.  Okan Miami has the sales office open and site work is being done.

Baacarat Residences tower seems under way behind an office building at the Miami River and Brickell.  It is mind boggling all the construction downtown and in Brickell.   Miami the 3rd tallest skyline in America after only NYC and Chicago.  

Demolition work is being done on the site of the new 80 story office building along Brickell a building is coming down now.    Aston Martin tower seems to be wrapping up and like NYC's flatiron building as seen from the Miami Riverwalk.
