J-Rob 3107 Report post Posted April 6, 2018 Charlotte start-up using AI, working out of 615 S College: https://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2018/04/06/how-charlotte-startup-bovametrics-is-using-ai-as-a.html A few quotes: "Charlotte-based startup BovaMetrics is changing the way wealth advisers manage assets for their clients. With its augmented-intelligence platform, Equilla, BovaMetrics created an algorithm that analyzes market trends and portfolio opportunities for advisers to use to better serve their clients. " "Watkins also says he intends to keep BovaMetrics in Charlotte, especially with its supportive environment for startups and the overall quality of life in the Queen City. “I want this to be a Charlotte success story and continue to build out more of those in the region. As we continue to do that, that’s how we really establish ourselves beyond just the idea that we want to be an entrepreneurial hub. We have to have some successes, and I think that starts with companies that are committed and want to be here in Charlotte,” Watkins says."
