Drive and walk by photos and yes construction workers present this afternoon.  newest corner of Charlotte Rising.

Drove by this morning and this project is OFFICIALLY vertical. They have cast 2 concrete columns that are about 15 - 20' tall right near the base of the crane. Probably the start of the deck.

the forgotten part of Charlotte Rising but this will have a great impact on the skyline just as the Lennar Ellis tower will on the other side of uptown.  Today.

FNB 29 stories   365 feet tall

Ellis 33 stories 384 feet tall

Wouldn't they be the 1st and 2nd tallest buildings in SC? Per wiki, Capitol Center in Columbia, at 349 ft, is the tallest in SC.

FNB Tower is rising now vertically.  This building will really make a skyline impact due to its location.

 I’m probably more excited to see this one rise more than any other building for that very reason  KH! (With maybe the exception of the new Lowe’s in SE). 

It will do wonders for the continual expansion of the skyline beyond the Tryon (and dare I now say the Stonewall) corridor.

^^^ok, I lied slightly. I’m actually jacked about The new Duke Tower, but this comes in a close second. Ha!

Can I have this one, The Ellis and Intercontinental. I love Duke, but those three expand the skyline into MSP/Dallas discussion.

Ditto! My condo is 4th ward so I'm excited about all of these, FNB, gateway station (1.5 block from house) and 500 W Trade.

Picture from Graham St. Pub before the Arsenal game. Go Gunners! FNB Coming along nicely. Really liked The pub as well, they had misting fans on the roof top which was a life saver.
