I'd hope so but Ground breakings always seem to take longer than expected this cycle.  I believe it's due to construction costs, due diligence and robust economy as High rise's are being built everywhere across the US and skilled labor shortages abound!

I actually think it was rendered too short, unless the scope was decreased. Should be nearly the height of 400 South Tryon.

I forgot about this one too. So during the summer of 2020 these towers will be under construction Legacy 2,  Ally Tryon Place, JW Marriott hotel, Intercontinental Hotel, FNB Tower and the just announced Duke Power Tower on S Tryon.   

Some photos of the 22 story FNB Tower rising in downtown Raleigh this week same set up  (office and apartments) but ours in Charlotte is a lot taller.
