Quick thought on this project... did anyone at city planning consider realigning the streetthat bisects this block (does it have a name? the one that goes through crescent) so that it matches up with State Lane. I know it's a small detail, but as  planner myself it is absolutely baffling that something like connecting two ends streets that are mere feet apart did not come to mind when Crescent was originally built, and again now that Golden Sparrow is in development. Orlando needs better street connections, signaled intersections, and slower speeds if we're ever going to reduce our pedestrian vs car collision rates, and it starts with small details like this.

If I were a bettin’ man, I’d say they purposely did not align the (unnamed) road that bisects the X/Crescent sites with State Lane due to the increased likelihood motorists traveling north/south on State would cause accidents in the Lymmo lane.

As it’s oriented today, drivers turning into the X site from Livingston often don’t yield to the buses, and many a fender bender has been caused. Conversely, drivers turning left or right from the X site onto Livingston will yield to the buses but completely miss that Chevy Silverado HD that’s about to plow them down while traveling east or west on Livingston. I’m sure the thought of making a 4-way intersection in this location was deemed not worth it given the wild card of the 2-way bus lane.

My office overlooks this section of Livingston and this is a multiple-times-per-week event in this area.

Also, I always just assumed the unnamed street on the X/Crescent sites was temporary until the X site was developed. [emoji2369]

That road is also private, which is why it hasn't been named.

Phase 1 is 17 stories with 262 Units.  251 ft.

Phase 2 is 25 stories with 266 Units.  331 ft.

Phase 3 is 24 stories with 361 Units.  310ft.

All on top of 9 level garage.

Central Station Crescent is 6 stories 276 Units for comparison.

As with many projects in Orlando. I Dont have any trust all 3 phases happen. Would be nice though.

Quick draw with new revision after appeal

Why? What's wrong with the third phase?

Wow I wrote that terribly. I failed at saying that I hope it gets to phase 2, but I think they could do better with their plans for phase 3. That being said, I’d rather it get built then seee that weird graffiti wall for too long.
