The piles were bore & pour, not driven. That's what that red drill rig was doing on site for 6 months. They have piles and foundations already in that corner, and the rebar is connected to that and the forms are created around the rebar.  

Trust me, it is going up.

This is the most exciting project we've had on this forum in at least a year. Come on guys! It's been over a week since someone posted new pics of this. I know this project is still very early in construction, but someone's dropping the ball. I live in Connecticut now so I depend on ya'll for updates.

Yes, Phase 1 is under construction currently with structural pillars for the first 2 floors already in place.

At any rate, this has me excited because of the transformation.  Once that Southeast lot is built out...this side of downtown will definitely become a destination other than people going to fight traffic tickets.

So is it confirmed which height they're building first? I'm under the impression that the 28 story tower is first. Is that the case?

I think they're stickers... what's weird is that someone took the time to print various sizes of these things. I've noticed some larger penguin man stickers on top of buildings. I'm okay with street art and utility box art, but I've noticed over the past few years there has been a spike in ugly, trashy-looking graffiti tags everywhere.
