I noticed over the weekend that they have apparently begun framing some interior walls of the first level of rooms. I don't if they are changing construction type from this point up, maybe they have some internal bearing walls or maybe they are just trying to get some miscellaneous work done, but seemed odd that they were doing this.

Hopefully we can get a build-up along the interstate after this one is completed and create some form of buffer between the city and interstate

I like the build up but I would hate to lose the view from the interstate.  I-65 really has two incredible viewpoints of Nashville.  Coming from the south you see "New Nashville".  Coming from the North you get "Old Nashville".    But I do love the skyline view of Nashville around Nissan Stadium.  Just not the PSC site.  :(

I think this hotel is the exception when it comes to being up against the interstate.  I suspect future development in that area will be closer to the river, which sits lower.  That being said, I'd love to see an east bank skyline with the downtown skyline in the background.   And, please  Nashville, don't call the area anything other than the East Bank.  It doesn't need to be East End, or Mid-town East ,or EDo (East of Downtown) or SoWo (South of Woodland),  Just simply call it the East Bank. :)
