The 7 story residential building that will also be on this triangular lot will be Phase II, and not timeline has been set on it getting started.   Developer Jarratt Bell (of Skyline Hospitality, which owns TopGolf) says his group remains under contract to buy a 3-acre property located next to the attraction complex. "We’ve got several options with respect to financing, and we'll close on the land just prior to construction." 

Earlier this week it was reported that TopGolf had 450,00 customers in it's just-completed first year of operation.  Holy cow!  No wonder they want to get this hotel built.

After close to 3 years of inactivity, this is finally resurfacing.  Instead of the original plan of 14 stories/190 rooms for the dual-brand hotel, it will now be 11 stories according to a new rendering, with no word on how many rooms. This will be Phase I, with a second phase of a mixed-use residential building still in the works (originally planned for 7 stories and 250 apartments--no word on configuration now).  A garage is still planned with a capacity of about 600 cars.

Skyline Hospitality President Jarrat Bell says the Oracle deal  has encouraged them to move forward. They are awaiting  the finish of infrastructure improvements of River North that will impact their final designs.  No planned start date as of yet.
