With the apartment development over the past few years, when you drive south on I-4, you its starting feel like you're entering downtown as you come up on the Massey building.  I think this project will really solidify that. I wonder if/when the Advent hotel will be built at Princeton and Orange.

I don't know but I hope Florida Hospital keeping doing what they are doing. Looks great over there.

I've said it before.... Florida Hospital/Advent Health is becoming its own little city with its own skyline.

Agreed. Visually it looks like you're downtown when you hit Advent/Florida Hospital all the way through to ORMC.

Anyone have an article or summary of the proposed Advent hotel? I've never heard about it.

I can’t seem to find any article on it now that I’m looking for it. There was a proposed Four Points to go in the rectangular space at the corner of Orange and Princeton across from the 7-11.

This thing is supposed to be 12 stories, I think -- and it looks like we're just past half of that at 7.

Driving south(west) on i4 towards downtown this building looks great, it looks massive and its only at around 7 floors so far. Going to be a great a great addition to Advent city.

It's almost as though the selected that site away from the main hospital for the view on this approach.  A huge ad on I-4!

It looks like this area is getting another 12 story office building at I4 and Princeton.

Digging into this, it looks like a replat for the building that's rising now, maybe not a new development. What's interesting, is that there's a place on the plans for a phase 2 on the garage, but still surface parking south of the garage Smith St.  Likely future development, but not proposed at this time.

I thought it appeared to be part of the same site, but I assumed there was additional development included- I don't follow that area closely. I appreciate you actually did the work to look into it.

It is the same building. They called it Lego because it was a "building" block plan where they were going to add to it over time as demand increased.
