Ford Motor Co.'s Michigan Central Station

Well, Ford revealed today what it has planned for the renovation of the old Michigan Central Station, though, even that will be fleshed out more in the weeks to come.  About a third of the building (the top floors) will be residential in use, the rest of the tower will be offices for Ford and various affiliated companies that will support its autonmous vehicle research and design, and the old waiting room and concourse will have shops and restaurants and such.

Local outfit Christman/Brinker has been chosen as the general contractor and historic preservationist architects Quinn Evans  out of DC will do the design work.  We learn that the project starts next month with a proposed 2022 compleition:
