8, maybe 9, cranes in this one shot alone!

All these new offices are making all those post-blue-line 4/5-story stick apartment look dumb.

Thanks for these great pics. Stunning views there! Can’t believe the siding is already going up! I think the exterior of the building already up will be finished before the second one gets off the ground.

I can't wait to see SouthEnd's new tallest in this view.

Also, I really hope that the Catholic Diocese site is redeveloped.  It's a huge, prime site.

Let me get another picture from further back when I get home from San Antonio, it’ll be great to imagine Lowe’s and the Wilmore tower once their up!

They built this too straight, it is making the utility poles look slanted

I came north on Park Road today and there is work on grassy ROW with conduit burying machine and I recall that the cable (of some type)  burial has been has been happening on streets all over Charlotte for 10-15 years yet the poles never lose wires. How can that be and what is being buried, now and recently?

Most likely fiber optic cable for fast internet.

I see your point...and yes if anybody hates seeing parking garages it’s me lol but I think this one might not be too bad. But I love the placement of it instead of each individual building having parking connected to it. I think once done you’ll appreciate it. I wonder if the garage will have any retail?

I agree I think this deck will blend into the block/project much better than what we’re seeing Uptown

Fun Story:
There was a part of the mine that was filled in with old cars on top of each other, the Gold District plans to preserve the cars, and the shaft, and make it a destination/park.  So just a bunch of antique cars stacked on each other, seems very cool to me.

Any detail on the plans or where this was originally documented?

Are there plans for retail on the backside of the parking deck?  IE the side facing the Charlotte Beer Garden?

Yes I cant find the plan now but there is retail facing all sides of the deck maybe not on Winnifred but the others sides I do think so.
