""A 200-room boutique hotel with a rooftop bar has been part of Vantage South End's development plan, to be built on top of the project's parking deck. That's on hold for now. "We’re going to do it, it’s just figuring out the right time," McClure said. The developer is talking with a group for a future deal, but he declined to comment further.  Part of the ground floor at the west tower finishing construction has been earmarked for a food hall, with room for eight to 10 stalls. No leases there have been finalized but McClure said the firm is in multiple conversations. There's also ground-floor retail space at the parking deck.""

you can see the pile driver in spot of the 2nd tower today.  this is great post Covid building in terms of ample open space and balconies with fresh air which is going to be so much more important going further than ever imagined now. 

Plus the garage looks great compared to another one at an uptown site.

Spectrum you hit a home run. the future of office space will include lots of balconies and outside space whether in urban areas or in the suburbs.  Even your mega garage looks good.

Spectrum hit a home run in design with this project.  photos from yesterday.  Balconies and fresh air are going to be must haves in future office buildings. 

Plus this is really where Southend meets up Uptown.

The fact that this parking garage looks like a decent office building is worth giving a round of applause to this developer. I mean with so many of them looking like jail houses, this one is a breathe of fresh air.

It a bit of progress to see these pictures and lust for when all these South End apartment buildings get torn down and replaced with towers like the ones spectrum has built.

The 1 and5 apartment building is the new surface lot. That's a pretty big change.
