Just a lovely building. Great scale. Excellent infill. Bold choices in not providing parking and doing a unique structural system. Bravo!

Really nice job with the brick work so far. Can’t wait tot see the stone caps at the parapets and black windows. Really gonna have a beautiful classic look

I don't mind at all when a building like this has very little height.  If you take the time to build something to look hardy and "Nashville" with the red brick...you're ok in my book.

We need to brand a particular Nashville style of architecture. Something about the industrial look with a balance of brick, iron and glass with some classical elements such as buttresses and façade embellishment with quoining, etc.

A combination of some of these elements;

I really like your list, except that Hampton Inn. One couldn’t get more generic and terribly proportioned and fake. The rest have a certain chic nashville industrial with the right color profile.

Really excited about this project. I think it'll make one of my favorite spots in the city, Hops and Crafts, much cozier since it won't just be looking out onto a brownfield now.

Unrelated, but am I the only one that'd love to see some architects/builders build an old-school exterior load bearing brick or stone wall building, versus the curtain wall with a non-structural brick facade method. I know it's more expensive, and less efficient, but there's something about knowing that the brick wall is put up the way it is because it's bearing weight and not just dressing...I'm just weird like that.

The brickwork on this one really is quite impressive. While some feel this is too "traditional" this is quite an impressive building. Really excited for the interior shots when that work is being done.

I hope we do more traditional around the city.  I wouldn't mind one new traditional for every new glass box.
