This without, business, international, and convention travel!

It's all those Woo-Hoo Girls that came to town in cowboy boots and Daisy Dukes to ride one of those party wagons!  We know how much you LOOOOOVE those party wagons, Smeags!

I saw a new one a couple of weeks ago - a converted fire truck!

3 more flights.

Nashville (BNA)

  • Jacksonville, Florida (JAX): Begins Nov. 18
  • Melbourne, Florida (MLB): Begins Nov. 18
  • Palm Springs, California (PSP): Begins Nov. 17

Holy cow, Allegiant now flies to 36 nonstop destinations from BNA.  Not bad considering it's been at BNA for only 3 years (March 2018).

Today this evening from SimpleFlying.

Has Southwest started flying to Chattanooga?  From the article:

"Southwest has around 55 connections to Nashville and nine to Memphis, and flights to Chatanooga [sic], but the airline does not serve Knoxville. "

Chattanooga does not show up on their app right now. Perhaps they are adding service soon. (I don’t know.)

I've flown only a little bit this past year, and I haven't seen any sign that SWA serves CHA.  It'd be great if they were to add service here, but that does not strike me as their bailiwick.  They love large/midmarket to large market point-to-point routes.

That's what I thought.  Southwest is such a coveted airline, I'm sure if there were any hint that they would start serving Chattanooga, we would've heard about it by now.  But with CHA sandwiched between two large Southwest markets (BNA and ATL) I agree that CHA probably isn't on their radar, unfortunately.
