This pic makes the airport look like a parking garage park.  I hadn't thought of it that way until now.

I'm looking forward to running on the runway in August!  My training is every other day now but will go to every day by August 1.

Today this evening.  Big Mama is here.  An-124 landed 7:18pm.

You say that the survival rate is "99.something percent" but you're rounding up. As of today in the US according to the Worldometer count, the rate is actually around 98.21%, which you can arrive at b

Air Canada resumes to Toronto on September 10th, 2021.

WestJet resumes to Toronto & Calgary on May 1st, 2022.

Spirit Airlines resumes to Cancun next month?

I don’t know. :dontknow:

Delta is hitting double-vaxed as well.     And the survival rate for this so-called pandemic is 99.something percent?  Clearly this is a political scuffle as much as a medical one.

Phil Valentine said the same thing before fighting for his life with COVID.    And I'm a conservative.    This anti-vax rhetoric is why we lose elections.

When the airport (or BA) releases an official announcement, then it will return. Anything else is speculation or click bait

Personally, I would expect 6 months lead time before the restart

TN has a far, far smaller covid rate (1.4) than UK (2.4), despite TN having a 30%+ vax rate compared to UK having a 55%+ rate.

So I doubt TN would want flights coming from UK with their current high rates.   Now how much the airport planners factor this data in remains to be seen.

Tennessee's positivity rate was 13.6% yesterday.

The UK was 3.4% today. So not apples to apples, but close.

Where did your data come from, Rolly?

Here's a couple of sources.      Shows TN is vastly better handling the covid situation compared to UK.

UK https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COVID-19_pandemic_by_country_and_territory
129,654/5,856,528   = 2.2

TN https://usafacts.org/visualizations/coronavirus-covid-19-spread-map/
12,730/891331 = 1.4

Good job Tennessee!  Why are they having so much better results than the UK?
